Here are some verses from the Bible that indicate Jesus (peace be upon him) worshipped God and acknowledged that there is a higher authority than himself:

1. *John 20:17:*

Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God.’"

In this verse, Jesus clearly states that he has a God whom he worships, the same God that others worship.

2. *Matthew 26:39:*

"He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, ‘O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.’"

In this verse, Jesus prays to God and submits to His will, showing his submission to God’s authority.

3. *Mark 15:34:*

"And at the ninth hour, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?’ which is translated, ‘My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?’"

Here, Jesus calls out to God, expressing his need for Him, indicating that he worships a higher power.

4. *John 5:30:*

"I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me."

In this verse, Jesus acknowledges that he does nothing on his own but follows the will of God who sent him, indicating that he worships God and follows His directives.

These verses from the Bible make it clear that Jesus (peace be upon him) acknowledged having a God whom he worshipped and was submissive to God’s will. This aligns with the Islamic view of Jesus as a prophet sent by God, not as God himself.
