ISLAM AND TERRORISM
Islam is a religion of mercy. It does NOT permit terrorism. The messenger of God has listed murder as the second of the major sins and warned that: "On the day of Judgment the first cases to be adjudicated between people will be those of bloodshed.
Quran says:
8. Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just. (Quran 60:8).
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) prohibited soldiers from killing women and children (Muslim).
He also said:
“Whoever has killed a person having a treaty with the Muslims shall not smell the fragrance of paradise” (Al-Bukhari).
Jihad means to strive or struggle against the weaknesses in oneself, to be virtuous and moral, and make serious efforts to do good deeds and help to reform the society. Depending upon the circumstances in which one lives, it can also means fighting injustice and oppression, defending Islam and creating a just society through preaching, teaching, and, if necessary, armed struggle.
In Islam, committing suicide and killing innocent people is NOT jihad. In fact, it is a grave sin.
From the earliest times, it was forbidden in Islam to kill noncombatants as well as women and children and monks and rabbis, clearly, all of them were given the promise of immunity. Islamic law sets clear guidelines for the conduct of war and rejects the acts of terrorism, The Quran provides detailed guidelines and regulations regarding war: who should fight (48:17, 9:91), when fighting should end (2:192), how to treat prisoners (47:4). It also emphasizes proportionality in warfare: “whoever transgresses against you, respond in kind” (2:194).
Other verses provide a strong mandate for making peace:
“If your enemy inclines toward peace, then you too should seek peace and put your trust in God” (8:61) and “Had God wished, He would have made them dominate you, and so if they leave you alone and do not fight you and offer you peace, then God allows you no way against them” (4:90).

It is one function of Islamic law to protect the privileged status of minorities, and this is why non-Muslim places of worship have flourished all over the Islamic world.History provides many examples of Muslim tolerance towards other faiths: when the caliph Omar entered Jerusalemin the year 634, Islam granted freedom of worship to all religious communities in the city.
Islamic law also permits non-Muslim minorities to set up their own courts, which implement family laws drawn up by the minorities themselves.

Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel: that whoever kills a person lunless it is for murder or corruption on earth it is as if he killed the whole of mankind; and whoever saves it, it is as if he saved the whole of mankind. Our messengers came to them with clarifications, but even after that, many of them continue to commit excesses in the land.
Prophet Muhammad , peace and blessings be upon him said something amazing which i'd like all non muslims to know:
"Whoever killed a person having a treaty of protection with the Muslims, and who enjoys the guarantee of Allah and His Messenger, he will have spoiled the guarantee of Allah [for him]. He shall not smell the scent of Paradise though its smell is perceived from a distance of seventy years."

Islam says: “O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other)......” (Quran 49:13)

Islam says: “God commands justice and doing good and giving to relatives. And He forbids indecency and doing wrong & tyrann....” (Quran 16:90)

Christians see only " slay " but never ask ; to whom refers "them "
So to know to whom refers "them " we have to read the context , the preceding verse is
2:190 Fight in the way of God those who fight against you, but do not transgress. God does not love the transgressor.
So " them" refers to those who fight muslims means fighters ,so civilians are protected
" but do not transgress" this is explained in this Hadith
the Prophet Muhammad instructed his soldiers:
“Do not kill any child, any woman, or any elder or sick person.” (Sunan Abu Dawud)

The Terror in the Bible
Many Times Christians post passages from the Quran on war and say that Islam is not valid because of them, because of the violence it supposedly promotes. Christians say Muhammad cannot be a prophet because he fought in wars and killed people; they say Jesus never killed anyone nor harmed any one, and that their God is loving and not a killer. Are these comments true? The simple answer is no, in this article I will quote several verses from the Bible showing the brutal terror found in it, I will be quoting from the OT.
Let us begin:

And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land. 32 Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz. 33 And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people. 34 And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain. 36 From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us
So here we have Moses and his army killing both women and children. Moses broke the 6th commandment, thou shall not kill ANYONE. Or I see, when it's in war it becomes okay? Yet when Muslims say the 6th commandment is followed, but in war its different, Christians say no and that the 6th commandment must be followed in all circumstances. Either way, The Quran does not say kill women and children, I CHALLENGE ANY CHRISTIAN TO BRING SUCH A VERSE. We rather see this in the Bible, one of your greatest prophets killing women and children by God's permission, meaning Jesus allowed it! So hence Jesus was responsible for killing women and children, and so was Moses so according to the Christians own argument, Moses cannot be a prophet since he killed. Note Moses and his army did this to many cities, verse 37 says there was not one city which was strong enough in the plural sense; hence up to 6 or 7 cities were destroyed with its women and children.

Why all these media wars in islam?
The rate at which ISLAM is spreading around the globe is a thing of concern to the West. Islam is their only obstacle yet, the fastest growing in UK, USA, Canada and the rest of Europe. The story is the same in Africa. Now, how would the West handle this if not by painting Islam as a religion of terrorism? Would a Christian ever wish to embrace Islam after all these media wars on Muslims? The West need to stem the tide of this "fastest growing religion in the world" and calling Muslims terrorists is their trump up card...
