Christ Did Not Know Paul : The Fabrication of the Encounter on the Road to Damascus
An Article Revealing the Hidden Realities
Introduction : An Ambiguous Story That Forged a New Religion
It is claimed that Christ appeared to Paul on the road to Damascus after His ascension to heaven, and sent him as an apostle to the Gentiles.
A story repeated in churches until it became the cornerstone of modern Christianity.
But if we search sincerely — not emotionally — in the books of the New Testament and church history, we will discover that this story was invented to justify Paul's deviation from the original teachings of Christ.
Christ did not know Paul , did not meet him, and never sent him any revelation.
Quite the opposite : Paul invented a
" vision " for himself to gain legitimacy among the believers after having been their foremost enemy.
And for absolute confirmation :
In every word attributed to Christ in the four Gospels, there is absolutely no mention of Paul's name,
Nor any indication that He chose him, sent him, or preached to people that He would send an apostle by that name after Him.
The complete silence of the Gospels regarding Paul is the greatest evidence that he had no relation to the message of Christ.
1. Paul Was Not One of Christ's Disciples
The four Gospels — which narrate the life and teachings of Christ — do not mention Paul at all.
He was not one of the Twelve, nor one of the Seventy sent by Christ, nor one of His followers.
Rather,he was among those who fiercely persecuted the church :
" As for Saul, he made havoc of the church, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, committing them to prison ."
( Acts 8 : 3 )
Therefore, Paul did not know Jesus, nor did he hear His teaching; he was His enemy.
2. The Three Accounts of Jesus's Appearance to Paul... Are Contradictory
The story of the alleged appearance on the road to Damascus is narrated three times in the Book of Acts, but it differs each time :
Chapter What Happened ?
Acts 9 The men heard the voice but saw no one.
Acts 22 The men saw the light but did not hear the voice.
Acts 26 Everyone fell to the ground, whereas in the first account, only Paul fell.
How can a " heavenly vision " have such contradictions ?
Even Paul himself did not have a consistent account of what happened to him.
This is not testimony of revelation ;
it is a confused, subjective experience.
3. The True Disciples Did Not Believe Him
After Paul claimed he saw Jesus, he tried to join the disciples, but they rejected him :
" And when Saul had come to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples; but they were all afraid of him, and did not believe that he was a disciple ."
( Acts 9 : 26 )
None of them believed he was a believer or that he had seen Christ. Even years later, Paul remained rejected by the church in Jerusalem, the center of Christ's original disciples.
If Christ had truly appeared to him, He would have revealed it to His disciples—but nothing of the sort happened.
4. Christ Warned in Advance About
" False Prophets " After Him
Jesus said clearly :
" Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many ."
( Matthew 24 : 11 )
" Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves."
( Matthew 7 : 15 )
Paul came after Christ's ascension, claimed he saw Christ in heaven, and then began teaching doctrines that completely opposed what Christ taught:
· He abolished the Law and circumcision ( Romans 10 : 4 ).
· He made salvation by faith in Christ's crucifixion alone, without works ( Romans 3 : 28 ).
· He considered Jesus a " sacrificial atonement" for all mankind
( Galatians 3 : 13 ).
Whereas Christ said the opposite :
" Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven ."
( Matthew 7 : 21 )
5. Paul Implicitly Admits He Did Not Know Christ
In his defense before the people, Paul says:
" Am I not an apostle ? Have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord ? "
( 1 Corinthians 9 : 1 )
Note : The form of a question.
This means he is defending himself against those who accused him of not having seen Christ.
If he had truly seen Christ,he would not have needed constant justification.
And in another letter he says :
" For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you ."
( 1 Corinthians 11 : 23 )
But he does not mention when, how, or where he received that from the Lord.
The word " received " here is not from direct revelation, but a vague claim to justify his teaching.
6. The Testimony of History and the Church Fathers : The Early Church Did Not Acknowledge Him
This point is unknown to many people.
The early church — in the first centuries AD — was divided over Paul, and many of the believers and disciples did not acknowledge his apostleship.
▣ Epiphanius
( 4th Century ) :
He mentioned the existence of a group called the Ebionites, who were from the original followers of Christ in Jerusalem, and said about them :
" They hate Paul and consider him an apostate from the Law, and they say he was not an apostle but an enemy ."
( Reference : Panarion, 30 : 16 )
These were not pagans, but the remnants of the true disciples from the Children of Israel, who maintained the faith in Christ as a prophet, not as a god.
▣ Eusebius of Caesarea – " Church History " ( 4th Century ) :
He mentions that James the brother of the Lord( brother of Jesus ) was the head of the church in Jerusalem, and that Paul was in constant dispute with him and with Peter and John (Church History 2 : 1 –23 ).
Indeed,Paul himself admits this in his letter to the Galatians :
" Now when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face."
( Galatians 2 : 11 )
Contemplate this:Paul opposes Peter, the head of the disciples, publicly.
What kind of apostle is it who attacks the true apostles of Christ?
▣ Tertullian – One of the Latin Church Fathers :
He wrote about Paul,saying :
" Paul himself was not a witness to the life of Christ ."
This is testimony from within the church that Paul never saw Christ.
▣ Irenaeus – 2nd Century :
He mentioned in his bookAgainst Heresies that some churches rejected Paul's letters because they contradicted the sayings of Christ.
He said :
" Some rejected the letters of Paul because they contradict the Law and the Prophets, whom Christ did not abolish ."
7. Paul Invented the Story of Christ's Crucifixion
Christ never stated in any passage of the Gospels that He came to be crucified for the sins of mankind.
He never said " believe in my crucifixion and you will be saved ."
He never mentioned original sin.
All He preached was a pure call to repentance, faith in God, and righteous deeds.
Look at the Gospel of
( Matthew 9 : 13 ) :
" But go and learn what this means : 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."
And in John 17 : 3 He says :
" And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent ."
And in Mark 12 : 29 - 30, when asked about the greatest commandment, He answered :
" The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart...'"
He mentioned no crucifixion, no redemption, no blood washing away sins.
Rather,He focused on monotheism, love, and obedience.
As for Paul, he introduced a strange concept unknown to Christ and the prophets, writing in his letter to (Romans 5 : 8 ) :
" But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
And in 1 Corinthians 15 : 3 :
" That Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures."
But which scriptures are these ?
Paul does not cite a single text from the Torah saying that Christ would die for the sins of the world.
It is a theory from Paul's imagination, designed to appeal to the pagan Gentiles who were accustomed to the idea of gods being redeemed by blood.
Thus, Paul became the founder of theological Christianity, not a disciple of Christ. This is why the German historian Adolf Harnack said :
" Paul is the real founder of Christianity as we know it today, not Jesus."
✦ Conclusion : Christ Was a Prophet, Paul Was a Myth - Maker
Christ did not know Paul, did not send him, and did not meet him on the road to Damascus.
Everything Paul said was a subjective vision with no witness, which he used to overturn Christ's message from a religion of monotheism to a religion of redemption.
Christ called for the worship of God alone, and Paul called for the worship of Christ.
Christ said : Do good deeds, and Paul said : Just believe in the crucifixion of Christ.
Christ said : " My God, My God", and Paul said : "Jesus is God ".
Therefore, God sent after them an unlettered prophet to correct this deviation and restore the light to its origin :
The Call to the Uncorrupted Light
O you who seek the truth, do not let the fog of visions extinguish the light of innate nature in your heart.
Christ did not come to establish a new religion, but to renew the covenant with the One God, as the prophets before Him did : Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, peace be upon them all.
And here, Islam declares it clearly :
God Almighty said :
"Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.
No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first [among you] of the Muslims."
Say, "Is it other than Allah I should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things ? And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ ."
[ The Holy Quran 6 : 162 - 164 ]
So whoever wishes to follow Christ truly, let him follow the religion of the One God to which all His messengers called,
The religion of prostrating to God alone, not to Paul, nor to a cross, nor to a creed taken from a vision on an unknown road.
That is the path of true salvation—the path of submission to God in worship and following His commandments, which is Islam, the religion of all the prophets, and the religion of Christ which has not been altered.
