And let's suppose that it's not false, if we read the context of the verses , we will be certain that Jesus is not God.
we find in
John 20:16: "Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Hebrew, “Rab-bo′ni!” (which means Teacher)."
*Rabboni* is similar to the Arabic word Rabbi which means master or teacher not God
So, she talks to him as her teacher not God.
And in John 20:17: "Jesus said to her, “, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.”This is a text that indicates the pure monotheism of God and that Jesus is not God himself.
Jesus here declared it clearly that he has only one God, and God is whom Jesus worships
So, how can he himself be God?
And then when Thomas saw the injuries in Jesus' body , so he believed that this is truly Jesus, and said in astonishmentJohn 20:28:
"Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”
Exactly like anyone says oh my God !
And you will find exclamation mark after his statement.
So..he doesn't consider the one he talks to is his God .
Here Jesus declared that he will ascend to His God, and their God, because he worships God alone.
