* *“Spirit of fear”* (2 Timothy 1:7) — meaning a fearful attitude
3. "Spirit" can refer to angels or evil spirits
*“Are they not all ministering spirits?”* (Hebrews 1:14) — refers to angels
* *“Unclean spirits”* (Mark 1:23) — refers to evil beings
4. **"Spirit" can refer to *prophets.*
1Jn 4:1: "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."
5. **"Spirit" can refer to *immaterial beying*
Luk 24:39: "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have."
