O Muslim woman, a radiant flower in the land of
Africa, Allah has honored and protected you,
adorned you with Islam and faith, and assigned
you a great role in your life and society. This
booklet highlights the essential guidance you need
regarding your faith, acts of worship, conduct, and
role in building the nation.

First: The Muslim Woman’s Creed
What is Creed ؟
Creed is the firm belief in Allah, His angels, His books, His
messengers, the Last Day, and divine destiny—both good
and bad. It is the foundation of your life; the stronger and
purer your belief, the more steadfast and peaceful you will
be.
The Pillars of Faith and Their Importance in Your Life
1. Belief in Allah Alone
• Allah is One and has no partner in His dominion or
worship.
• You must rely on Him alone, fear none but Him, and
seek only His mercy.
• Allah says: “Say: He is Allah, the One. Allah, the
Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to
Him any equivalent.” (Al-Ikhlas: 1-4)
2. Belief in Angels
• Angels are honored servants of Allah who never
disobey Him. Among them are Jibril, who brings revelation,
Mikail, Israfil, and the Angel of Death.
• You must believe in their existence but never invoke
them, as supplication is for Allah alone.
3. Belief in the Divine Books
The books that Allah Almighty revealed to some of his
messengers, such as The Torah that he revealed to
Moses(peace be upon him) , the Gospel that he reveals to
Jesus(peace be upon him),the Psalms that he revealed to
David(peace be upon him), and the Quran that he revealed

to our prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) as a
guidance to the truth, as a call to good and a warning against
evil.
• The Quran is Allah’s unaltered word and the primary
source of guidance in your life.
• You must follow it, learn its interpretation, and keep
it as your constant companion.
4. Belief in the Messengers
• Every prophet sent by Allah called to monotheism,
and the message was completed with Prophet Muhammad
(Peace be upon him).
• None of them is to be worshipped, but they should
be followed and respected without exaggeration.
5. Belief in the Last Day
• It is the Day of Judgment when every soul will be
recompensed for its deeds.
• Prepare for the Hereafter and make every moment
in life a step towards Paradise.
6. Belief in Divine destiny
• Everything in life is predestined by Allah, so do not
despair over trials or lose hope in His mercy.
• What Allah chooses for you is always best, even if
you do not understand it now.
Tips for Strengthening Your Faith

Keep the Quran as your companion, since it is the light
that illuminates your heart.
√ constantly engage in remembrance of Allah (dhakar), for it
strengthens your faith against weakness.
√ Learn the creed from its authentic sources and stay away
from innovations and superstitions.
Secondly: The Duties of a Muslim Woman
1. Maintaining Prayer
Prayer is your connection with Allah, and it is the first thing
you will be asked about on the Day of Judgment.
Do not let anything delay you from performing it. Just as you
care about your appearance and daily matters, care about
your prayer even more, as it is the foundation of your
happiness.
The Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said:
"The most beloved deeds to Allah are prayer at its proper
time." (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
2. Hijab and Modesty
Hijab is the crown of chastity, and it is a command from Allah
for your protection, not just a tradition.
Do not believe those who say it is a restriction; rather, it is an
honor and a mark of distinction for you as a dignified Muslim
woman.

Allah Almighty says:
"O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the
women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part]
of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be
known and not be abused." (Al-Ahzab: 59)
3. Honoring Parents and Being Kind to Family
Allah’s pleasure is linked to the pleasure of your parents, so
be diligent in honoring them, serving them, and bringing joy
to their hearts.
Do not raise your voice at them, and always be obedient to
them in all matters except in disobedience to Allah.
4. Good Manners and Controlling the Tongue
Do not backbite anyone or speak ill of others, for every word
that comes out of your mouth is recorded against you.
The Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said:
"A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand other
Muslims are safe." (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
5. Honesty and Trustworthiness
Be truthful in your words and actions, for honesty is one of
the signs of true believers.
Do not deceive anyone, and do not cheat in selling, work, or
any transaction you engage in
Third: The Role of the Muslim Woman in Building Society
You are not just an individual in society; you are the nurturer
of generations and an influence on everyone around you.
1. Raising Children on Islam

You are your child's first school, so raise them with love for
Allah and His Messenger, and instill in them noble morals.
Teach them to pray from an early age and be a good role
model for them in all aspects of life
2. Seeking Knowledge
Knowledge is light, whether it is religious or worldly
knowledge, so always strive to learn.
The Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said:
"Whoever follows a path in pursuit of knowledge, Allah will
make easy for him a path to Paradise." (Narrated by Muslim
3. Reconciliation among People
"Be a reason for spreading peace, and do not be a source of
struggle and disputes."
"Make sure to calm conflicts and instill a spirit of love and
tolerance among people."
4. Participation in charitable work
Help the poor, be a support for the needy, and contribute to
spreading goodness in any possible way.
Don't underestimate any good deed, for even a kind word is
charity.
5. To be a good role model
It's not enough to talk about morals; you must follow them in
your actions.
Be an example of a successful Muslim woman who balances
her religion and her life.

In conclusion, O blessed flower
Islam has given you the highest status, elevated your
rank, and made you a light in your community. So do not
underestimate your role, and do not allow anyone to
diminish your value.
Be steadfast in your faith, cling to your hijab, and be
proud of your chastity.
Don't be deceived by doubts, and always remember
that your greatest honor is being a Muslim woman.
Create a good impact for yourself, and keep your heart
attached to God, for He does not disappoint those who
turn to Him.
O Allah, make us among the righteous women, keep us
steadfast in your obedience, and make us a means of
spreading goodness.
And may Allah's blessings and peace be upon our
Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.
