Christians ask us: "What prevents God from having a son? Isn’t He capable of everything?"

🔹We reply: A son must inevitably inherit the attributes of his father. Therefore, it is impossible for God, exalted be He, to have a son because He is One, glorified and exalted be He.

▪️And if He had a son, this son would be worthy of worship alongside his father, which would imply the existence of a partner with God!

Thus, one of the greatest blasphemies against Him is to believe that He has a son or a partner. Exalted is Allah above such claims.

🔹I have also found this meaning in some verses of the Qur'an.

▪️Allah says in Surah Az-Zumar: "Had Allah intended to take a son, He could have chosen from whatever He willed of what He has created. Glorified is He! He is Allah, the One, the Supreme." (Qur'an 39:4)

Reflect on His words: "the One." It is as if the verse is saying to them: "How can He have a son when He is One, without any partner?"

🔹Similarly, in Surah Yunus: "They say, 'Allah has taken a son.' Glorified is He! He is the Self-Sufficient." (Qur'an 10:68)

Reflect on His words: "the Self-Sufficient." It is as if the verse is saying that the one who needs a son is the weak creature who needs someone to support him, assist him, honor him, and carry on his name.

▪️As for the Creator, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, He is free from such needs. Therefore, attributing a son to Him is blaspheming against Him, diminishing His status, and attributing weakness, need, and dependency to God. Exalted be He, far above that.

🔹Therefore, I say to the brothers who are preachers: Your starting point in dialogues with such people should be to talk about the greatness of Allah, exalted and glorified be He, and His attributes.

▪️Before responding to their beliefs, repeatedly remind them of the greatness of Allah and His attributes, reminding them that He is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy, to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, that He is the One, the Eternal Refuge, who has no equal, partner, likeness, or comparable, glorified and exalted be He.

🔹Then, after that, clarify to them that their belief contradicts these attributes, which they have already acknowledged as attributes of the Creator.

▪️Tell them that any text or belief that contradicts these attributes is falsely attributed to religion.

🔹Then, inform them that the Bible has been subject to distortion, omission, and addition, and that Jesus did not speak English; rather, his language was Aramaic, and there is no manuscript of the Bible in this language.

▪️So why do you rely on translations and manuscripts written by people whose honesty you cannot verify, who have disagreed on many points, and when you see multiple versions of the Bible, with each church rejecting and denouncing the book of the other church?

🔹Why base your belief on this corrupted book and abandon the last book, the Qur'an, the only document we can provide conclusive evidence that it is from Allah?

▪️The only document that has not been subjected to distortion or alteration—a single book for all Muslims, with every letter and diacritical mark preserved with utmost precision, transmitted to us through chains of narration, memorization, and auditory transmission with well-known, trustworthy narrators whose ethics and honesty are well-documented, as well as through written, reliable manuscripts preserved until our time.

🔹Moreover, the beliefs of the Qur'an are in accordance with reason, innate nature, and sound logic.

▪️Why hesitate to accept the truth when you know that this world is short and that we will all stand before our Creator on the Day of Judgment?

🔹What will you say to Him when He asks you: "Why did you reject Islam? Why did you not believe in the Messenger Muhammad whom I sent to clarify the truth about Jesus? Were your family and relatives more beloved to you than the truth that your Creator obligated you to follow? What will you answer?"
