Why Do Muslims Love Prophet Muhammad So Much?

Why to Love Prophet Muhammad?

I love Prophet Muhammad. I love him with all my heart. Maybe this is something that you won’t understand if you don’t know him or if you haven’t read about him from pure, sincere, truthful sources. Maybe you won’t understand if you still doubt the Qur’an and that it is truly the literal words of the Creator carried and recited by Muhammad to the world.

You won’t understand if you’re not interested in the Truth. But if you’re a truthful person, then I swear to you from the bottom of my heart that learning about Muhammad, the Final Messenger of God to all mankind, will fill your heart with joy and eyes with tears of gratitude.

The Creator chose him as the best of all mankind and the leader of all mankind and the teacher of all mankind. Even if you deny, but this is the Truth.

Story from Prophet Muhammad Life

You might be questioning: Is Muhammad really the Prophet of God? OR Is he just someone who had worldly aspirations?

Well, let me tell you a story.

Utbah Ibn Rab’iah was a leader from Quraysh (Muhammad’s tribe), he was very wealthy, politically influential and well-traveled. He had stood in the courts of all the major Kings of that time e.g. Rome and Abyssinia.

Utbah and the Quraysh leaders thought that they could get rid of Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) by satisfying what they took to be his personal ambitions. So, Utbah convinced the Quraysh at one of their community meetings to delegate him to approach Muhammad with a number of alternative offerings of which, he thought, Muhammad would surely accept one.

He, therefore, went to Muhammad and said, “O nephew, you certainly enjoy among us great eminence and noble lineage, and you have brought about a great issue and divided your people. listen to me for I am about to make several offers to you, certain as I am that one of them will prove satisfactory to you. If by bringing about the conflict you did, you have sought to achieve some wealth, know that we are prepared to give you of our wealth until you become the richest man among us. If, on the other hand, you desired honor and power, we would make you our chief and endow you with such power that nothing could be done without your consent. Even if you wanted to be a king, we should not hesitate to crown you king over us.

Utbah kept offering the Prophet the best of wealth, the best of women and the highest of status. Throughout Utbah’s talk, the Prophet remained silent. Then, asking if Utbah was done, he replied:

In the Name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful:

Ḥâ-Mĩm (1)

[This is] a revelation from the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. (2)

[It is] a Book whose verses are perfectly explained—a Quran in Arabic for people who know, (3)

delivering good news and warning. Yet most of them turn away, so they do not hear. (4)

They say, “Our hearts are veiled against what you are calling us to, there is deafness in our ears, and there is a barrier between us and you. So do [whatever you want] and so shall we!” (5)

Say, [O Prophet,] “I am only a man like you, [but] it has been revealed to me that your God is only One God. So take the Straight Way towards Him, and seek His forgiveness. And woe to the polytheists (6)

-those who do not pay alms- tax and are in denial of the Hereafter. (7)

[But] those who believe and do good will certainly have a never-ending reward. (8)

Ask [them, O  Prophet], “How can you disbelieve in the One Who created the earth in two Days? And how can you set up equals with Him? That is the Lord of all worlds. (9)

He placed on the earth firm mountains, standing high, showered His blessings upon it, and ordained [all] its means of sustenance—totaling four Days exactly—for all who ask (10)

Then He turned towards the heaven when it was [still like] smoke, saying to it and to the earth, ‘Submit, willingly or unwillingly.’ They both responded, ‘We submit willingly.’ (11)

So He formed the heaven into seven heavens in two Days, assigning to each its mandate. And We adorned the lowest heaven with [stars like] lamps [for beauty] and for protection. That is the design of the Almighty, All-Knowing.” (12)

If they turn away, then say, [O Prophet,] “I warn you of a [mighty] blast, like the one that befell ’Ȃd and Thamûd.” [Qur’an 41- 1:13] (1)

Utbah started screaming, ‘Please stop, please stop! Is there not anything else you could say to me apart from this?’ The Prophet replied no, and that this was his message. Another narration reports that Utbah placed his hand on the mouth of the Prophet asking him to stop. Utbah himself expressed fears that the punishment that the Prophet was speaking of would descend upon him there and then.

When returning to the Quraysh after this conversation, the people noted he looked different and terrified. Utbah confirmed that Muhammad had never lied; despite traveling and meeting the greatest soothsayers, speakers and magicians, Utbah said what he heard from the Prophet was nothing like these, and that it was not from this Earth. Facing him was a man devoid of all ambition for wealth, prestige, honor, power, or sovereignty. Neither was he sick. Facing him was indeed a man telling the truth, calling to the good, answering him with arguments more soundly and sublimely expressed than any he had ever heard. Utbah was spellbound by the beauty and sublimity of what he had seen and heard. (2) (3)

Why to Know Prophet Muhammad?

Muhammad is The Messenger of The Lord of the Heavens and the Earth. In learning about Muhammad and reading his biography, I found a home. You’ll find a home. Because this is the level of mercy your heart craves; the level of humility, beauty, wisdom, honor, nobility, compassion, gentleness that embraces your heart and soul and give them comfort and peace.

Do yourself a favor, do your heart a favor, do your soul a favor…. and learn about Muhammad from truthful sources; from those who love, not those who hate and ridicule. Read the Qur’an objectively as a Direct Message from your Creator to YOU.

Allow yourself to love and find the truth. Don’t be afraid, don’t hate. Open your heart and mind… be truthful and you will see the Truth.

Prophet Muhammad Effect on Muslims

I’ll tell you something. Do you see how many Muslims around the world are ready to do anything for Prophet Muhammad? Or do you see how they get angry when they see him slightly offended? Do you see the level of love and respect they have for him… and they haven’t even seen him, ever? Isn’t this a sign? Doesn’t this make you think?

Muhammad’s love has been placed in the heart of every believer by the One who created hearts. Muhammad’s love for the believers and the believers’ love for him transcend time and space. One day Prophet Muhammad was reciting the Quran.

Then he raised up his hands and said, “O Allah! My Ummah (nation), my Ummah (nation),” and wept…; Allah, the Exalted, said: “O Jibril (Gabriel)! Go to Muhammad and ask him: ‘What makes you weep?” So Jibril came to him and asked him (the reason of his weeping) and the Messenger of Allah informed him what he had said (though Allah knew it well). Upon this Allah said: “Jibril, go to Muhammad and say: ‘Verily, We will please you with regard to your Ummah (nation) and will never displease you.” (Hadith) (4)

Conclusion

Finally, Allah’s promise is Truth. He carried and sustained Muhammad’s message to every believer and will do so until the end of time, and He placed and sustained Muhammad’s love in our hearts and will do so until the end of time.

Nothing can change that and no one can change that.

Do yourself a favor. Allow your heart to know him, allow your heart to love him. Get to know the Praiseworthy one: Muhammad; The Messenger of God.
