Muhammad (PBUH) Muhammad, The Truth, who wrote Qur'an Abd El-Khaliq Al-Sayed

Muhammad- no doubt-the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) (1)

Due to the misleading mass media and press, especially in Europe- people get the wrong idea about Muhammed; the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). They think that he was an imposter; that he was not a prophet and he wrote the Qur’an. This is completely untrue.

It is wise to realize that Muhammad is the Seal of the Messengers and Prophets of Allah, and that the Glorious Qur’an was revealed to him from Allah by the Holy Spirit; Gabriel (PBU Them)………… Why?

This fact is best proved and illustrated through the following:

The Prophet’s character (his life story from his birth to the revelation)

The Prophet’s character ( from the revelation till his death)

The Book itself (The Glorious Qur’an)

Now with the details.

The Prophet’s Character: (His Life Story from His Birth to the Revelation)

Let’s discuss the character of Messenger Mohammad (PBUH). He was born in Mecca. He, like his community, did not know how to read or write (he was illiterate). The Prophet (PBUH) was not educated in any field that may account for the scientific and historical accuracy or the literary beauty of this magnificent Book. The Glorious Quran’s precision of historical recounts of previous peoples, Prophets and civilizations mentioned in the Glorious Quran is also too great to be authored by any man.

The people of Mecca were traders who traveled to Yemen and Al-Sham (that is Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine now). When he was a boy, he raised sheep. When he grew up, he went with his uncle to trade. He was known among the people of Mecca for his good manners, so they called him “the trustworthy”. He never bowed to idols or share the other young men the pleasures of life like drinking wine, playing gambling, or having illegitimate sex.

Wisdom of the Prophet (PBUH)

He was also known for his wisdom which was shown when he advised the people of Mecca what to do when they pulled down Al-Ka’ba to rebuild it. They argued and were about to fight because each tribe wanted to gain the honor of putting the Glorious Black Stone in its place in Al-Ka’aba. Mohammad (PBUH) advised them what to do. He put the Stone in a garment so that each tribe would hold one end of the garment. He himself held the stone and put it in its place.

2. The Prophet’s Character ( from the Revelation Till His Death)

At the age of 40, The Glorious Spirit (the Archangel); Gabriel came to him in the cave (Hira’a) and ordered him to read but he answered that he couldn’t.

Allah says in the Glorious Quran:

Recite in the name of your Lord who created, created man from a clinging substance. Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous, Who taught by the pen, taught man that which he knew not.” [Qur’an, 96: 1-5] (2)

Now try to think of this situation. Mohammad (PBUH) was not a genius before. He did not know how to read or write, or even sit to a teacher or a priest. How could he become all of a sudden, at the age of 40, able to write a book of such greatness? Do you believe it? Do you know what the Glorious Qur’an contains?

Variety of Topics in Qur’an

It contains a great bulk of knowledge and news of the past. It also contains scientific facts and theories in various fields such as embryology, meteorology, astronomy, geology, oceanography and others that have later been known to man in the 20th and 21st centuries. Many verses in the Glorious Qur’an describe the evolution of the embryo inside the uterus so accurately as we find now in modern science. So it’s humanly impossible that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was the author of the Glorious Qur’an. It is illogical as well. Read the verse in the Glorious Qur’an:

Say, “If Allah had willed, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you, for I had remained among you a lifetime before it. Then will you not reason?” [Qur’an, 10: 16] (3)

The Messenger of Allah Is Friendly Reproached in The Glorious Qur’an:

If the Glorious Prophet (PBUH) had written the Glorious Qur’an, would he have blamed himself more than once? Indeed, there is blames for the Prophet in many situations.  Allah friendly reproached him when he set free the prisoners of war of Mecca after the Battle of Badr for ransom. Allah also blamed his Messenger for hailing the atheists; the noblemen of Mecca, hoping that they would adopt Islam. The Glorious Qur’an says:

He frowned and turned away, because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting].” [Qur’an, 80: 1-2] (4)

Muhammad Is Not the Author of the Qur’an:

If the Glorious Qur’an had been the authorship of Mohammad (PBUH), he would have praised his wife Khadija (May Allah be pleased with her) instead of praising Mary the virgin and the wife of the Egyptian Pharaoh.

The Moon’s Eclipse:

It happened that the moon eclipsed. People said that it was because the prophet’s son died, but the prophet refused that.

He illustrated that the eclipse of the sun and the moon are natural phenomena. Someone else would have accepted that explanation.

Inability of Prophet Muhammad to Answer Some Questions

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Could Not Answer Some Questions by the Jews and the Atheists More Than Once, and he said: I don’t know.

For example, they asked him about the Day of Judgment and the Soul. He just said: Allah only knows.

Allah, the Almighty said in the Glorious Qur’an:

And they ask you, [O Muḥammad], about the soul. Say, “The soul is of the affair [i.e., concern] of my Lord. And you [i.e., mankind] have not been given of knowledge except a little.” [Qur’an, 17: 85] (5)

The Seas and Rivers

Although the prophet (PBUH) had not travelled by sea, the Glorious Qur’an mentioned the seas, the rivers, the fresh and salty waters and the ships. Here is an example from the Glorious Qur’an:

He released the two seas, meeting [one another]; between them is a barrier so neither of them transgresses.” [Qur’an, 55: 19-20] (6)

Man Is Doomed to Make Mistakes:

When people write, they are bound to make mistakes such as spelling and grammar, contradictory statements, incorrect facts, the omission of information, and other various errors.

Allah says in the Glorious Qur’an:

Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’an? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction.” [Qur’an, 4: 82] (7)

3. The Book Itself (The Glorious Qur’an):

The Glorious Quran is considered to be the everlasting miracle of Islam. Allah the Almighty preserved it in the hearts of the believers (men, women, and children) and in the books. The Glorious Qur’an we read today is the same that our Prophet (PBUH) and his companions used to read more than 1400 years ago. Nothing was added or omitted or modified, even a letter.

Allah, the Almighty Said:

Indeed, it is We who sent down the message [i.e., the Qur’an], and indeed, We will be its guardian.” [Qur’an, 15: 9] (8)

Do you know why it’s preserved? It’s because the Glorious Qur’an represents the law that organizes our life in all fields. It contains the teachings of Islam, the broad lines of Islamic laws which are explained in details in our Prophet’s Glorious Sunnah (the Hadith). So it represents the main source of the teachings of Islam.

The Contents of the Glorious Qur’an Go round Three Main Topics:

The first: is the idea of monotheism and the existence of Allah.

The second: is about rituals; that are prayers, fasting, Zakat, Hajj and others ( such as how a Moslem should deal with others; that is he should have good manners).

The third: is about stories of past events, nations and Prophets.

The Style of the Glorious Qur’an:

The style of the Glorious Qur’an is unique. It is written in prose, yet verses have rhyme and rhythm. The style is incredibly eloquent. It has beauty, splendor, wisdom, prophecies and other perfect attributes. In one verse, you can find two news, two commands, two prohibitions and two glad tidings.

Allah challenged the people of Mecca who were well-known for being great poets and eloquent orators to write something like Suras, or even one Sura (one chapter).

(NB: The shortest chapter contains only 3 verses, that is Al-Kawthar, Chapter 108). This challenge is still unanswered to this very day.

Allah, the Almighty, says:

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down [i.e., the Qur’an] upon Our Servant [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)], then produce a sūrah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses [i.e., supporters] other than Allah, if you should be truthful.” [Qur’an, 2: 23] (9)

Therefore, it is thoroughly incredible and unbelievable that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) could have written the Glorious Qur’an with the cultural background I have already mentioned.

Conclusion

To conclude, after reviewing the facts that prove the identity of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the real Author of the Qur’an, we can reach only one interpretation:

And if it was not for the favor of Allah upon you, [O Muḥammad], and His mercy, a group of them would have determined to mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they will not harm you at all. And Allah has revealed to you the Book and wisdom and has taught you that which you did not know. And ever has the favor of Allah upon you been great.” [Qur’an, 4: 113] (10)

Now, it’s high time to believe that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was special in everything starting from his childhood going through his youthfulness and reaching his Prophethood. He was special in his appearance, his manners, his dealings, and his priorities. He is unlike anyone, he is the best in everything. That’s why God had chosen him over all humanity to be His seal Messenger and to carry the last and the greatest message ‘ Islam’.

His Childhood & His Youthfulness:

To begin with, the father of the Prophet (PBUH) died before his birth. So the Prophet was born an orphan.  After his birth, his family was searching for a woman to breastfeed him. Actually, it was the tradition of the big Arabic families to hire a foster mother from bedouins to breastfeed and raise their sons. So the prophet was taken by his foster mother Halima to be raised among her sons. Muhammad (PBUH) was unlike any child;  he was unique. Halima realized his uniqueness as after he entered her house, their life changed for the better.

Moreover, Prophet Muhammad was qualified to bear the responsibility of God’s seal message from a very young age. To illustrate, his father died before his birth and his mother died when he was about 6 years old. Then he was raised in his grandfather’s house who was a man of a great statue and a very wise man. Muhammad (PBUH) used to attend the meetings and discussions of the great people of Koraish, Prophet’s tribe, with his grandfather which contributed greatly to broaden his mind and shape his wise personality.

After the death of his grandfather, Muhammad (PBUH) moved to live with his uncle and he learned to bear his own responsibility which qualified him to be able to bear the burdens of God’s message. As well, at a young age, Muhammad worked in sheepherding which helped him to be patient and bear all hardships and calamities. During these stages, God had qualified him to bear the burdens of His message and to be mercy and light to all humanity.

 Before Prophethood:

Muhammad (PBUH) was unlike the youth of his age. He never gambled, never drank alcohol, never committed adultery, and never did any vice. Also, he was known for being truthful and trustworthy. After Gabriel was revealed to Muhammed by God, Muhammad said to lady Khadija, his wife:

… I fear that something may happen to me.” Khadija replied, “Never! By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You keep good relations with your kith and kin, help the poor and the destitute, serve your guests generously and assist the deserving calamity-afflicted ones.”(Hadith) (1)

This shows how Prophet Muhammad was known for his kindness to all people.

After Prophethood:

 Muhammed with Disbelievers:

What a great, and merciful man the Prophet (PBUH) was! The prophet (PBUH) was so tolerant and kind to the people who rejected his message, insisted on disbelieving as well as hurted him and his companions. The prophet wasn’t weak at all but he chose kindness and mercy to call them to Islam. Look to this situation that shows the endless mercy of the Prophet.

Lady Aisha asked the Prophet (PBUH):

Have you encountered a day harder than the day of the battle) of Uhud?” The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, “Your tribes have troubled me a lot, and the worse trouble was the trouble on the day of ‘Aqaba when I presented myself to Ibn `Abd-Yalail bin `Abd-Kulal and he did not respond to my demand. So I departed, overwhelmed with excessive sorrow, and proceeded on, and could not relax till I found myself at Qarnath-Tha-alib where I lifted my head towards the sky to see a cloud shading me unexpectedly. I looked up and saw Gabriel in it. He called me saying, ‘Allah has heard your people’s saying to you, and what they have replied back to you, Allah has sent the Angel of the Mountains to you so that you may order him to do whatever you wish to these people.’ The Angel of the Mountains called and greeted me, and then said, “O Muhammad! Order what you wish. If you like, I will let Al-Akh-Shabain (i.e. two mountains) fall on them.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “No but I hope that Allah will let them beget children who will worship Allah Alone, and will worship None besides Him.” (Hadith) (2)

Muhammed with His Companions:

Adding to that, the Prophet (PBUH) was the most supportive man you could find on earth. Despite his hard missions, he cared the most about his companions and his people. He was able to relieve the pain and teach patience. Look to this situation that must melt your heart:

When the Prophet of Allah sat, some of his Companions would sit with him. Among them was a man who had a little son who used to come to him from behind, and he would make him sit in front of him. He (the child) died, and the man stopped attending the circle because it reminded him of his son, and made him feel sad. The Prophet missed him and said: ‘Why do I not see so-and-so?’ They said: O Messenger of Allah, his son whom you saw has died.’

The Prophet met him and asked him about his son, and he told him that he had died. He offered his condolences and said: ‘O son-and-so, which would you like better, to enjoy his company all you life, or to come to any of the gates of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection, and find that he arrived there before you, and he is opening the gate for you?’ he said: ‘O Prophet of Allah! For him to get to the gate of Paradise before me and open it for me is dearer to me.’ He said: ‘You will have that.”‘ (Hadith) (3)

Muhammed with His Wife:

Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) came with the message that honored the woman and gave her all rights from which she was deprived. He (PBUH) advised the nation to deal with the woman kindly and care about her feelings and her needs. The prophet (PBUH) said:

… Act kindly toward women.” (Hadith) (4)

Moreover, the Prophet (PBUH) never felt ashamed to show love for his wives. He (PBUH) said about lady Khadija:

Her love had been nurtured in my heart by Allah Himself.” (Hadith) (5)

Also, It was said:

O Messenger of Allah, which of the people is most beloved to you?’ He said: “Aishah.” (Hadith) (6)

Muhammad with Kids

Furthermore, the Prophet (PBUH) was used to shake hands with children, pray for them, have fun with them and even condole them. Look how the prophet cared to relieve the pain of a kid, Anas said,

The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, visited us. I had a young brother who used the kunya of Abu ‘Umayr. He had a sparrow which he used to play with it and it had died. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came it and saw that he was sad. He asked, ‘What is wrong with him?’ He was told, ‘His sparrow has died.’ The Prophet said, ‘Abu ‘Umayr, what has happened to the little sparrow?'” (Hadith) (7)

Muhammad with Animals

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was also kind to animals and cared a lot about their feelings. Look to his mercy!

He entered the garden of a man from the Ansar (Helpers). All of a sudden when a Camel saw the Prophet (ﷺ) it wept tenderly producing yearning sound and it eyes flowed. The Prophet (ﷺ) came to it and wiped the temple of its head. So it kept silence.

He then said “Who is the master of this Camel? Whose Camel is this? A young man from the Ansar came and said “This is mine, Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ).” He said “Don’t you fear Allaah about this beast which Allaah has given in your possession. It has complained to me that you keep it hungry and load it heavily which fatigues it.” (Hadith) (8)

Conclusion

To sum up, God has made Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) a special role model for us. He was the patient, merciful teacher, kind husband, and compassionate dad. The Prophet (PBUH) never gave up on his people. He cared about every single person in his nation despite his huge responsibilities. Indeed, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was unlike anyone; he was special in everything. O Prophet, may my mother and father be sacrificed for you! Isn’t it time to follow him and know more about him? Save your life as it deserves.

Do you wait for the Prophet of this time? Do you want to know his identity?

Then you want to know Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

1- Prophet Muhammad Is Mercy for Mankind

And We (God) have not sent you (Muhammad) except as a mercy for mankind.” (Quran 21-107) (1)

Many sayings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) emphasize the relationship between belief and action. For example,

He who believes in Allah and the Last Day let him not harm his neighbour; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day let him show hospitality to his guest; and he who believes in Allah and the Last Day let him speak good or remain silent.” (Hadith) (2)

Muhammad the final Messenger of God taught humans to show mercy and to respect each other,

He who is not merciful to people Allah will not be merciful to him.” (Hadith) (3)

In another narration, some people tried to convince  the prophet (peace be upon to him) saying: Invoke curse upon the polytheists, whereupon he said:

I have not been sent as the invoker of curse, but I have been sent as mercy.” (Hadith) (4)

2- Prophet Muhammad LifeStyle

This is Mohammad, the simple and humble character. I saw him in his home washing his clothes, patching his garment, milking his sheep, and mending his sandal.

Moreover, I saw him eating with his servants, visiting the sick, and helping the needy. I saw him praying with his grandsons climbing his back while he is prostrating without preventing them. Then when he stood up, he carried them while continuing his prayer.

Also, he was the embodiment of love and kindness. He loved the humans and the animals… and even the plants took their share from his mercy and tenderness as he recommended that no tree should be cut… Not to mention the inanimate objects which had a portion of his mercy and tenderness as he said about the mountain of Uhud:

Uhud is a mountain which loves us and which we love.” (Hadith) (5)

This was such a GREAT man who never wanted to be overpraised. He was such a generous man who was described by his companions as spending like the one who has no fear of poverty. It has never happened that he saved even one single dirham.

He died, as it is known, while his armor was in pledge with a Jew. Also, he never ate a full stomach. He never tasted the barley bread for two consecutive days.

However, he used to accept the gifts of delicious food and soft clothes that came to him. But, he never pursued thought or preoccupied himself with such soft life. Therefore, he trained and disciplined himself for poverty, hunger, moderation in desires and demands to be an example and an excellent pattern for what Islam teaches. This is the religion of moderation and a middle course. To illustrate, there is neither monasticism nor killing oneself. There is no suppression or unlawful release of lusts and desires.

 Conclusion

Finally, As well as calling people to pray, fast and give charity, the Prophet (peace be upon to him) taught that one’s faith in  God should also affect one’s treatment with others. He said,

The best of you in Islam is the best of you in character when they possess understanding (of the deen).”(Hadith) (6),(7)

This is the Prophet Muhammad the Prophet of our time, Do you want to follow him?
